You need to take your child to the dentist as soon as first tooth erupts in the child’s mouth or latest by the age of one year.
You can clean your child’s teeth with soft bristled toothbrush. In case of infants when the teeth have not erupted, you can use the pad of your finger to gently clean and massage the gums. You can also use fluoridated toothpaste once teeth erupt to brush the teeth.
