    Aligners can treat various cases like crowding of teeth, deep bite conditions, open bite conditions, spacing in between teeth and some cosmetic issues.

    Aligners are completely removable unlike conventional braces. The main advantages of aligners are that they are nearly invisible and therefore, won’t affect your personal, professional and social life. They are Comfortable, Flexible, and Convenient. There are no restrictions on eating & drinking. It gives you access to brush your entire mouth which in turn helps in maintaining good oral hygiene.

    Yes, like any other treatment clear aligners have minor but subjective disadvantages which include wearing it for up to 22 hours in a day (compliance) and may require time to adjust. Aligners need to be removed for eating and cleaning. Some patients may find it difficult to do this in public if they feel shy or embarrassed about it. Aligners can treat most cases but not all.

    Intra oral scans are taken along with digital photographs and a customized digital treatment plan is drawn. Once the plan is approved by the orthodontist and the patient, unique set aligners will be manufactured and handed over to the patient, which has to be worn for 20 to 22 hours in a day, changing to a new set of aligners every 1 to 2 weeks as directed by the dentist.

    Yes, a retainer is necessary to prevent teeth from gradually shifting back toward their initial position.

    You can use aligner cleaning system or you can brush them with toothbrush and toothpaste and rinse with normal water. Never use hot water as it may distort the aligner and lose its functionality.
