Microneedling radio frequency and HIFU are treatment options available for skin tightening.
Microneedling radio frequency heats up the dermis in a controlled manner causing collagen production and re-modelling thus lifting up the sagging and loose skin.
HIFU involves penetrating ultra-sound energy to stimulate collagen production in the deep dermal and sub-dermal levels, fascia and the SMAS layer of the skin which results in micro injury to that tissue. It results in a ‘selective thermal coagulative zone’ on the subcutaneous layer and SMAS layer improving skin ageing.
